Before. After.

This was online. A circa-1930 crystal starburst. Cool. But how did the shade attach to the fixture? And how did the fixture attach to the ceiling? Were all the parts included? Well, the seeming high quality inspired me to take a chance, and I crossed my fingers that once in hand I could figure out how it all went together.

My fingers proved lucky. Stunning. And all the parts WERE included. It just a while to figure everything out.

You might be interested in this. It’s from one of the sellers I follow on eBay. Reminded me a lot of the fixture you show above.
