CH: Day 130

Today I removed the north leaded glass window so it can be restored, and the two small windows to each side of the mantel, so they can get matching leaded-glass inserts. And all thanks to Pam, in memory of Clara, and David. I also refinished the small sash to the right of the turret, and glazed it.

Hi, Ross! I spotted some typos you might want to fix:

–“Today I removed the north leaded glass window so it can be restored, and the two small windows to each side of the mantle”: “mantle” should be “mantel”

    — “And all thank to Pam, in memory of Clara, and David.”: “thank” should be “thanks”

    — “I also refinishing the small sash to the right of the turret, and glazed it”: “refinishing” should be “refinished”

As always, feel free to delete this comment! And a happy Wednesday to you 🙂

OT: How can I clean very dirty brass? I inherited a 1960’s pendant that has hung in the kitchen for 60+ years and has not been cleaned for decades. The white glass cone is easy to wash. But the brass is dark brown (and I only know it is brass because there are some light spots where it was covered). Your advice will be appreciated.
