CH: Day 133

The famous west leaded transom has been bedded and glazed. In a few days I can get it painted. Ross excited!
I also got a second coat on the small west window.
The north sash should be ready for paint soon.
What does all this mean?
In about a week I will be ready to install:
- The famous leaded west transom.
- The small west sash.
- The final west basement window (finished last year but never installed).
- The north sash.
Ross excited, indeed! And all via the wonder that is Baby Steps™!
DOOR UPDATE:
Doug’s door was too small. Poo.
A new beveled glass panel for the existing door is less than I had thought: $269. I will order this when I can afford it. I will also need to move the door knob from the right side to left.

Yay on the windows.
Too bad about Dr Doug’s door. But $269 is pretty good if that means they are doing a bevel.
I had an entire dining room table top done in beveled glass 20 years ago, wide bevel, rounded edges and thicker than a window and it was around $400. Even with inflation that price sounds like a beveled glass panel for the door.
Things coming together really fast. More like Baby jogging.
Glad the door will eventually also work itself out. In about a week, the Carriage House is gonna look a whole lot more polished and I can’t wait!
That is exciting! The Carriage House will look great.
