CH: Day 140
Drove to the Cross House yesterday. Light snow.
Arrived at house, had lunch, then glazed the new north leaded-glass window in basement workroom.
Glanced out eyebrow window. Oh shit!
Quickly finished.
Darted to car through a LOT of snow.
Drove home with a top speed of 40.
Watched a car in front of me suddenly and wildly fishtail, dart into the opposing lane…fishtailing the whole time…and fly into a ditch. Oh shit! I instantly removed my foot from gas to slow down and braced myself for the expected ice patch which must have caused the other car to fly away…but…no ice.
Finish trip at 20-miles-per-hour.
Arrived home safely.
Staying home today.

Pet all the kitties!
I did, Jay!
Good idea, better to be slow and safe, than sorry.
Wow! Can’t believe you have snow already! So glad you are safe!
It does sound like an excellent day to stay home with the kitties.
Safe is good.
Glazing looks beautiful! Enjoy the first snow of the winter for you- ours in Buffalo was on Halloween this year, but none of it stuck thankfully.
