CH: Day 33
A month ago.
Today. Can you say SQUEE!!!!!!!!
It rained most of the afternoon. Some drizzle. Some downpour. All the while I painted away under the blue tarp and a piece of plywood (far right) I tacked in place as a temp roof. I enjoyed the surreal quality the afternoon. All the while listening to Barack Obama.
The downspout will soon be replaced with something better.
This weekend I will…drum roll, please…remove the scaffolding! Then on to the west front!

Looking so good! Great book to read/listen to as well. Seem like toodler steps instead of Baby Steps.
Are we on to quick “white” painting or is there more construction left? Less than three months left.
