CH: Day 49

It was hot today: 92-degrees.

It was humid humid humid today.

Ross unhappy.

Ross not very motivated.

Ross did though remove the tacked-in-place 1894 crown, stripped it of many layers of paint, sanded it, and reinstalled it. Baby Steps™, baby.

Ross happy.

Justin and Scott came by. We spent an hour reviewing things. They think they can come by next week for a day and switch out the entry with the large window.

Ross excited.

After Ross came home he had a nap with Gray snuggled against Ross’ head and in the palm of his hand.

Ross, although sleepy, was delighted.

It is now quite late and Ross is shortly going to have some wine.

Ross soon to be very happy. And silly.

What a lovely ending to a a productive day!

I’m so glad you rest after a day of hard work.

Excited Justin & Scott can help you!

    Baby steps!

With heat and humidity you did more than enough.

Great they are coming to help you with the window. I hope all goes smoothly. Then you can all sit back and admire the new façade while sipping on lemonade. Or maybe cold beers. Whatever. (Popsicles?)

According to Yahoo your “coolest” days this week will be Sunday and Monday with 0% chance of rain. Not sure if that means low humidity but it’s a shot. Of course coolest is relative. It will be 90 but those are the two days with the lowest predicted temperature. Thursday it will be 100 with 4% chance of rain so I’m assuming humid as well. I’m sure Gray would love to have a nap with you that day. Also sure Gray considers having a nap with you quite productive.

I had a little wine last night as well. Haven’t done that in months.

You got a lot done in the heat and humidity. The heat just zaps the energy right out of me, then I skip the work and have the wine. No, not really, I force myself to do a little bit of work. I’m looking forward to seeing the window and the entry door in their new places.
