   I have to admit that I have a high level of glee when I think about the neighbor that complained about Tyvek now having to endure months of looking at blue tarps. Petty revenge is the best.

   It looks just wonderful as is but will be even better with paint.

   Linseed oil and then primer. Patience and baby steps™.

   Then you can decide what your next step will be. Paint or install the door.

   Seems like you are right on time or maybe even ahead of schedule.
