Pre-drilled for a bunch of nails. Pounded in a bunch of nails. Set a bunch of nails. Sanded siding. Vacuumed. Brushed on turpentine/linseed oil mix. Baby Steps™, baby! Oh, and mowed more lawn. The heat wave seems to be…for now…over, with temperatures in the high 80s rather than 100+. Ross happy.

Nice. I can see you’re doing an area large enough to reach from side to side while sitting down. Very smart.
I did that same, sitting down while pruning a huge rose geranium that has gotten out of hand. The prunings went in my raised bed to take up space so I need less dirt and then decompose and feed future plants.
I find it very difficult to justify doing nothing when you get so much accomplished in heat worse than mine.
I’m looking forward to a week of lovely temperatures in the 80s. I’m going to get after all the yard tasks that need doing (and should have been done in May, or June, or July. Ugh). I’m applying your Baby Steps(TM) method to my Stupid Projects(TM) list, and it’s producing results. A little a day is better than no progress at all — and it really does add up to a big impact.

While you may hate the task, I bet if the siding could talk, it would be thanking you.
What marvelous progress!!
You are making such a difference!
Glad the temperatures are less scorching! KS in summer is tough! Working outside in KS in the summer is extremely difficult!
You are amazing Ross
!!
You did a bunch of work today. Thank goodness the temps are humane for the time being. It was actually pleasant here in North-central Missouri.
