The living room is shaping up very nicely, it’s going to be beautiful with those brackets and columns. You go Ross. Scott and Justin, great work.
Do the short columns connect to something? They look a bit unfinished as they are.
Jenine, the short oak columns were originally topped with glass globe light fixtures.
As they will be again! I can’t wait! Soon! Soon!
Are the half walls they rest on solid on both sides or does the other side contain bookcases? Possibly with glass doors? I’ve seen similar half walls in my city’s homes from about the same period. Sometimes they have glass doors on both sides and sometimes only one.
Getting more and more homey.
That living room is going to be gorgeous….and….Hi Cody!!
Wow. The living room is shaping up nicely!
I’m back to clearing out my storage room today. I’ll use your basement posts as my inspiration. The Carriage House is looking more and more like a home by the day.
Living room cleared amazingly well!
Great progress!
Love the photo of Cody!
Oh my – that wood! and glass!!!! Can’t wait…Great job all!! 🙂
From the grand to the domestic, carpenters think alike: Description of Notre Dame de Paris: “The cathedral’s roof contained so many wooden beams it was called la forêt.”
I could have missed it, and I don’t want to be intrusive but can we get a blog post about Cody?! I’m curious because every picture I’ve seen here he has a shirt from my hometown college bar!
