Damn. Damn, damn, damn. DAMN!

For my whole life I have watched incredible buildings be demolished. And I am now old enough to frequently hear, decades after some magnificent treasure was smashed to the ground: “Gee? Why did we knock it down? Looking back, it was actually an incredible building. We should have saved it.”

Yes, should have.

The wonderful Old House Dreams featured an astounding Mid-Century time capsule. ASTOUNDING. A treasure beyond compare. Waaaaaaaay cool. Something exquisite and impossible to replicate.

And some ass crushed it to rubble.

I feel sick.

Gulp. What a loss. Will probably be replaced by ‘all things beige’ with acres of granite in the ‘open concept’.

Now that breaks my heart. My daughter and son-in-law own a 1963 MCM in Dallas that is amazing.

Omg the turquoise bathroom! Love. Not usually a fan of this style. If this pisses me off. I hate any history being torn down. Can’t they just go build thier crap on a different lot?

Was probably the Property Brothers who knocked it down. Lol

I am not usually a fan of mid-century modern, but this house was definitely a time capsule, and should have been preserved. The thing I really don’t get is why someone asking $300,000 plus for a house would just tear it down. You can’t tell me the lot would get that much. Why didn’t they try lowering the price and seeing if it would sell first?
