All done-ish! SQUEE!!!!!!!! The green is the color Cody painted the dining room. I decided to continue the color through most of the first floor. It looks good with the trim. Click to enlarge.

But, soft! What light through yonder window breaks? It is the east, and Ross’ new sun.
Yeah I know, actually the west, but still the light is brilliant.
I like the green, but I like wallpaper even better. Period wallpapers are so much $$$, though. I have some in my house, and they fill my soul. I don’t regret the cost at all.
Such a great green! It has been such a lovely composition for a picture ever since you put that wonderful leaded glass window in there, now it’s even better with the trim. And now even more so with the paint! Go Ross!
Love it! It is gorgeous. Wondering about trim on the door? Will it be beefed up to match the height of the window? Somehow the window now dwarfs the door… perhaps it’s just the angle of the picture.
Ooh, this makes me happy. I’ll be back in Emporia in a couple of weeks. I volunteer as tribute to wash all the dust off the stairs, when you’re ready for that step. It will remind me of washing all the lovely woodwork in my parents’ house in Emporia, which was as beautiful as the trim in the Carriage House.
…and that green is (brand, colour, sheen)? I have a “cottage” home with much aged PINE, not unlike the trim colour there. Needing a foil to match the warmth and calm the orange hues as this colour does in this space.

Oh, that looks wonderful. Especially with the trim in place.
Well done. Looks really nice.
I love the green, I love the trim. The window is gorgeous and the room is just right!

The window trim looks so nice, I like the color. Looking from the parlor into the foyer, it’s the perfect picture. Well done Ross.

Thanks Ross
