Gray. The Return.
After I moved Limpy into my office, Gray stopped coming into the room for her nightly desk nuzzle time.
With Limpy now moved to Florida, Gray finally figured out that nuzzle time is safe again.
Last night:
She has not been on my desk for months.

I’ll bet she feels content to be back.
She probably senses you need some evening nuzzle time and is more than happy to oblige.
I suspect Gray also intuited your emotions after Limpy’s move to Fl.
Comforting for you that you have another kitty to console you!
Perhaps Gray sensed that Limpy had a challenging life before he was adopted by Ross and gave Limpy generous opportunity to experience extra love and care and nuzzles.
