    • What a glorious view, sweeping round the tower, oh my, lifts my heart πŸ™‚ Happy holidays to all fellow commenters, too, well met!

  1. Oh, Ross, it really is the beginning of the season now the the Cross house is fittingly decked out. All the joys of the season to you and your kitties.
Speaking of which, do I spy the beginning of the cat fence back there?

  2. I just finished listening to Brandi Carlile in concert on the radio, my son Justin and I didn’t get to see her live as we didn’t get tickets in time, still it was great and then I saw this post. What a wonderful feeling!! Thanks Ross and Merry Christmas to you and yours!!

  3. I’m imagining Ross now, watching dusk settle and awaiting JUST the right time to take this shot and achieve maximum effect from both the lights and the windows. Positively lovely. Especially because you can see the dining room chandelier, AND my favourite of the stained glass windows, the easter egg, is glowing beautifully there. 😍

It’s even more heart-warming because we KNOW that the people of Emporia who drive past the Cross House will have been anticipating this moment and smiling now because of it.

Ross MacTaggart, spreading happiness just by doing his thing. ❀️

  4. Happy Holidays to Ross and all of his followers. I’ve been pretty quiet lately, but love the pics of the windows at night. The tree just tops it off for the holidays. 2019 promises to be an exciting time for the Cross House with the south facade being restored and hopefully the kitty fence in place. Starting today, I plan to have a drink for each and every one of you by Christmas!!

    Cheers!

  5. Oh, christmas is coming… we had the first snowflakes today in Vienna, right while visiting a christmas market… magical, as magical as this picture looks like.
Wishing you a bright and joyful holiday season!
    Greetings from Vienna

  6. Merry Christmas to you, Ross! And to your feline family. I can’t wait to drive by next weekend and see the lighted windows and tree in person.

  7. Merry Christmas and a Blessed 2019 to you and your feline family too, Ross (like Barb Sanford wrote). Each blog post that you publish is like Christmas day for me. Warm hugs to you and head scratches to the kitties.

  8. Happy holidays to you and all your feline family Ross from the Workman’s at the Aylor house. Please show us the detail on how you attached the lights to the tower. Thank you!
