This is the master suite foyer at the Carriage House. The room did not used to exist. It was merely part of a hallway. You are looking though at a door frame I moved to create the foyer. The foyer has a door on each compass point. SOUTH: the entry door, as pictured above, and with a transom window. WEST: The door to the new Turret Bathroom (right). This bath also did not also use to exist (the room was a bedroom). EAST: Door (not pictured) to walk-in master closet. SOUTH: Door (not pictured) into master bedroom, and with a transom window.. I am ridiculously excited about this foyer, and hope that The Other Justin can do something special with the floor. Above, will be a crystal chandelier because, well, should not all foyers have crystal chandeliers?????? The four doors will be shellacked 5-panel doors, offering a richness not currently evident.
