Inching Alone…peacefully.

With shingles, outside corners are tricky. Over to the way right (not in picture), I did the outside corner the correct way: Each row of shingles has flashing UNDER the corner shingles, and the shingles were mitered at the corner, then glued. This producing a very clean look. Ross happy. But, in order to do that, one needs to be doing the entire corner, starting from the bottom. On this left side however (above), the shingles on one side are new from a few months go, but on the adjacent side they are original shingles. So, one cannot get flashing UNDER them, but rather one has to put the flashing in front. Ross less than happy. The one section of white flashing is split to account for that row being curved. The dark flashing is original. Still, once painted, the flashing will hardly be obvious so high up in the air. So, yes, Ross is—occasionally—sensible. Oh…

…and neighbor Brad says peace, man, peace.
