Inching Along.

A few weeks ago.

Today. All three dining room windows are painted black! The adjacent trim has been painted green almost to sill level. And the scrollwork to the left, under the curved widow, is done!

Tomorrow, I plan to — hallelujah — remove the last of the scaffolding!!!!!!!!

Then I need to paint the window sills, and finish the scrollwork!

The only thing slower than waiting for paint to dry must be waiting for glazing to dry.

Your patience has been rewarded, because the windows are beautiful. Spectacular. Stunning.

Almost done! I know you must be so happy to remove that last section of scaffolding. Is that color #5 on that one area under the window?

Wow, black sashes really make a huge difference. So sleek!

Wowser! I never would have thought to paint the sashes black, but what an impressive effect. As well, color 5 behind the beautiful green scroll work is just gorgeous. Whoee, taking down the scaffolding will make such an impressive appearance. I have absolute nightmares about this project, but then each day you make them better!!
