It must feel really good to have brought this corner of the house back to life. Baby stepsTM!
looks sooo much better
Yup that has ta feel good!
Barb Sanford is right baby steps and incremental progress must be so satisfying! The south side was so decimated & making such a difference at a good pace, considering each area needs so-o much attention and detail work…
Looks great, Ross
L O V E L Y!
Fabulous!
Another step….. looks fabulous.
So satisfying! You can imagine how long it must have been to shingle such a huge house when it was built. Building a new big house? Let’s use the smaller components available to make it super long and tedious: bricks/shingles. ah ah, I always admire the patience of the builders of the older times and find this so irrational 🙂
One question: Didn’t you prime these shingles before painting them? Were they made of already prepped/treated wood?
🙂
Magic!
Oh my!
Looks great, but I cannot help but wander what this improvement looks like from the ground looking up. Ross????
If that was me doing the painting… I would have had to start at the VERY TIP TOP, meaning the curved area first in case (who am I kidding, for when) I dripped some on the new shingles I didn’t have to touch up. Just admitting, right?
