Inching Along…with an oopsie

More paint!

More paint! Oh…wait…DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME! But, with a lot lot lot of water later, and a small brass wire brush, all was well.

The bottom of the shingles were crooked. Oh, the horror.

Not perfect, yet, but much better!

EEK!!!!!!!!

And so, more shingles needing replacing.

It’s all good, Ross. You are making the Cross House watertight. As for the paint spill, it was taken care of. Is it only one final side to be done?
    So exciting!

Looking great! Not surprised more shingles since that water spout is right there. What a sense of accomplishment you will have when that whole nook is painted.

Oh NO! just what you needed, a side job cleaning up paint. But it is remedied and you can move on. You are nearing the end, it will be so exciting when the exterior is done. And the interior will be more fun, and then you can start decorating. I’m getting ahead of myself. Keep taking those baby steps Ross.

    Looking gorgeous!!!
Rubbing alcohol is a good solvent to try for spilled latex paint if any is left behind.
It’s saved many a project for me! 😁
