It Was A Dark And Stormy…

..afternoon.

It rained all morning. Then the rain paused for a while. Which allowed me to work on the cornice above the scaffolding. Then it began raining again, but the huge overhanging cornice protected me. Then it began to crazy rain and I was forced back into the house.

The area hidden by the tarp is already painted!

Baby steps! Baby steps!

    That’s great!

I’ve done a bit of painting myself behind tarped scaffold while it was raining. I have to admit I have been a bit nervous about the paint quality, but so far, no issues to report!

Ross, for the trim board that finishes the weeping curve of your porch, how will it be done? I heard of several ways this was done, but i’m sure only a restoration carpenter would possibly have experience. Do you know how you are going to accomplish this?

The painting by Ross of the whole house will soon kiss! Wheeee!

Should we request a Zoom or other software party to share the brushstroke that closes the circle? Like driving in the golden spike?

        Ooooo great idea, Grandmere Louise.

    Go, Ross, go!
I admire you. Doing all that by yourself. Kudos! Most would think it would need to be done by a crew. Great job!

The house looks so good–I’m amazed that you’re nearing the end of the exterior painting!
