Before last night, Democrats won 28 out of 30 special elections just this year.
The media has ignored this.
Biden has raised more campaign funds than all the R candidates combined.
The media has ignored this.
Young voters now exceed older voters. And most young voters are repelled by the GOP.
The media is ignoring this.
There’s a vast demographic shift already well underway, and the most Conservative generation…The Silents (late 70s+)…has been massively dying off.
The media has ignored this.
I believe that abortion will be a MAJOR issue in 2024.
The media is more focused on Biden’s age than this.

One of my favorite parts in his current trial is when he was saying he was running the country (forget what the question was.) The lawyer was like, you weren’t president in 2021. 😀
PS I think some younger folk who rage about Boomers are mixing up the oldest Boomers and youngest of the Silent Generation. My conservative SG mom is still around and voting at 93. I have two aunts of a similar mindset who are 93 and 96. And an ex-mother-in-law who is 97!
A Good Morning indeed! Dare I believe that the current cycle of political madness is finally coming round to something more compassionate, sensible and what I always thought was the true nature of the American people? Fingers crossed, this baby boomer certainly hopes so!
Do you subscribe to Dan Rather’s Substack? He made the point today that the traditional polls are showing all the problems you’ve been pointing out, and that’s what getting reported in the media. But the polls that really matter take place at the ballot box, and those are overwhelming in the Democrats favor. Fascinating stuff, and worth a read. As they typically do, the Republicans are hard at work denying the people not only their right to vote but overturning their vote when it doesn’t go their way.

The GQP is truly disgusting and the most seditious, unAmerican organization we have in this country working to undermine our Constution and destroy our Democracy.
Which would you rather have. A Party that burns the flag but wraps itself in the Constitution or a Party that burns the Constitution and wraps itself in the Flag.

I’ve started to call the Republican Party the America Nazi Party. They’ve embraced fascism as proved by the events of 1/6. If they don’t get their way they will do everything they can to destroy democracy.

My blog is only, very nominally, about politics. And when I do on occasion comment on politics, it’s mostly to bring attention to something being ignored by the mainstream media.
What is happening in Gaza is an international story.

Meaning, that it’s a story being told across the globe. America is part of the globe.

Nauru is a small country (part of the globe).
America is the world’s most dominant economic and military power and has a long history of interventionism in the affairs of other countries, so not just a part of the globe.
