Ross aside from the many other impressive feats you accomplish, you give me a lot of hope/ inspiration to redo the lathe and plastering in my old home. The ceiling always seems so daunting

There’s a lot of helpful internet tutorials but the “See Jane Drill” plaster video is the one that I think is the simplest and most soothing. Good luck–it’s a lot of work! The lime coat is a killer.

    Dear Ross,

I came across your YouTube interview with Elizabeth from Circa just after Christmas Day, and thought I’d check out your blog. I started at the beginning. Finding it was timely as my family was about to implode. It kept me from being a mess of tears and getting through my birthday. I have finally caught up.

My husband and I both love architecture and old homes. As others from Australia have stated we don’t have as many, and now days most have had their large estates carved up and are hidden by Mc Mansions (though we can’t talk as we have one. We knocked down our very poorly built late 1970’s home and built one😁)

I have shown sections of your blog to my husband as he is a dual citizen of America and here. He spent 11 yrs of his childhood/early teens growing up on a farm in SD. The whole family has been watching from the other side of the world in disbelief.

I can not wait to see what this year holds for you and Cross house. Hopefully when the world rights itself and we can travel once more. I really have to talk my husband into going over so I can see your beautiful house in person.

    Kind regards,

    Khayyam Dudley

      Dera Khayyam,

What a pleasure to meet you! And from Australia!

Yes, please make the big trip when you can! I’ll give you and your husband the royal tour!

      Ross

Hi, Joan! I’m not sure what you mean. Ross
