A few months ago I did a post about finally getting the BIG window in front glazed (the glazing is the white at the edge of the glass). Glazing takes forever to dry, so I was unable to get the wood sash painted…
…until now! Whoee! I still have the porch ceiling to contend with. And speaking of painting…
…all primed! Actually, this image is kinda scandalous as the finial isn’t dressed properly.
Ahhh. Decorum restored. Blessedly.

The finial looks so beautiful now in it green garment. And it looks so big in that room. I can’t wait to see it back in its rightful place.
What color do you plan to paint the porch ceiling?
The original porch ceiling color was a VERY pale olive. I am going to have it scientifically scanned, and matched. Hope to have painted by the end of the year!
