MERRY CHRISTMAS 2015!!!!!!!!!

t7 - 1

Last year I did a post on my first holiday season at the Cross House, and the three-story tree I came up with celebrate the season. Today, the 2015 tree magically rose high high high into the air.

The 2014 tree was straight along the bottom edge. This was highly visible head-on, but it just disappeared when viewed from the sides. So, the 2015 tree has a V-shaped bottom edge. Santa should be able to see this tree much better!

Justin and Scott graciously helped with the tall tree-o-lights! Thanks guys!

We strung the lights this morning, and then I took us out to lunch at Radius.

When it got dark, I was DYING to see the tree all brilliant with its zillion bits of bejeweled colors, but I was at my office working on business. Then I remembered that Brandon was across the street from the tree, working on holiday decorations for the Plumb House. I texted to see if he could snap some images of the Cross House and send them to me. So, presto! Thanks, Brandon!

Well, happy holidays to all!

Beautiful! I’ll be back in Emporia to see family at Christmas, and one of our family traditions is going to see the Christmas lights on Christmas night. Can’t wait to drive by and see the Cross House lit up in person.

Very impressive, would love to see it. Great Christmas spirit. I am sure the Cross House is feeling pretty very proud of her self.
Did I miss an update on the Carriage House?
    I hope not.

I love that you do this! It’s amazing and my little girl loves to drive by the “fancy house with the big light tree”
