More 3.0

The parlor yesterday. I was able to finish the borders at the edges of the damask fields. I continue to be amazed at how much impact this small change has made.

I have run out of the leaf trim. On Monday, I will order more but this means a few weeks until I can finish the parlor. I also have one more exciting change to reveal…soon.

Bet you can’t reveal just one!

An homage to what I believe was the Lay’s potato chip ad campaign slogan, “Bet you can’t eat just one.” for those who don’t know it.
Close up, I really despise the leaf trim. Like, viscerally loathe it.
In the pic taken from, what is, I presume, the middle of the room… I love it. It’s just the right pop of texture. I guess it’s whatever the room-equivalent of the 10-foot rule in theatre is.
This room is amazing.
The leaf border is just delicious in person. As you walk through the room, it shimmers in the light. The effect is magical, and adds a depth to the walls which was previously lacking.
I could not be happier.
I LOVE the leaf trim! It is a wonderful nod to fancy, ornate Victorian trim, but with the quirky, crafty touch of Ross ingenuity.
“I also have one more exciting change to reveal…soon.”
Ross, you are such a tease! Now my mind is racing a hundred different directions, wondering what you have in store for us.
The leaf boarder is divinely delicious! The Parlour, pure creative alchemy! Exceptional 🙂
