Octagon Progress

The paper…has been ordered!

I only needed four rolls!

This should not have surprised me as there is really only one wall in the room, the temporary wall. Otherwise, the room largely consists of a 5-foot-wide pocket door, a mantel/overmantel, and three windows.

Ross excited!

That is phenomenally beautiful! I love those broken tulips. Make sure you grow some outside when you get a chance😁

I think they are called parrot tulips.

Every time I see it, I love it more and more. And more. I’d lie there every morning and try to pick a favorite bloom, change my mind and never make it out of bed. Just as well in such a beautiful place.

I just noticed the little butterflies in the paper! Such whimsy!

Are the plaster walls ready yet for the paper?
And will you refinish the floors and trim before or after the wallpaper is up?

Linda, I’m many many months away from being able to hang the paper.

And the floor/trim will be done first. Ceiling and frieze as well!

Can’t wait to see the room come together. I love reading about your thinking process as you design a room. I’m learning a lot from you and applying it as I work on my basement.

That wallpaper kicks some serious ass. I love the tables, too!
