Does your home look like a trash can exploded? Mine has paper balls, foil balls, “tinkle” balls, and random “toys” all over the floors! I have one kitten, a foster-fail from last summer, that finds all sorts of things to play with. Yesterday I caught her carrying my floss around the kitchen! In the box still! She will get the little nipples I use for neonates out of the drawer, as well as the kitten formula scoops, to bat around the house. Rings from milk jugs and hair bands are other favorites. Another kitten foster-fail loves the bit of crinkly plastic that seals ice cream containers and will pull them out of the trash to play with. I had one cat, a Siamese, that LOVED Beanie Babies and would carry them around, meowling, and drop them at my feet or put them in a basket and nest with them. I have sticks with ribbons on almost every surface, waiting for someone to play with. The cats and kittens in my rescue are well loved and spoiled. My vet says they win the kitty lottery when they get to come stay with me!
