Hey!! We’ve got trash pandas too!
I looked out my kitchen window yesterday morning, and there was a mama raccoon with one baby following behind her. Headed towards my front porch, where I frequently feed my two indoor/ outdoor strays I took in. I thought they were going through a lot of food. I usually only put food out during the day, take it in at night unless I forget, so I guess mama got wise to my ways!
Do you think those 2 kitties will excuse a nibble from this brave raccoon?
Hi, Sandra!
For four decades my kitties have had close encounters with a wide variety of creatures.
Not had a problem yet.
Well there you have it… stray cat utopia and an animal society that recognizes human savior of feral creatures, stray cats & koi fish….all will partake at Human Ross and his kitty settlement of strays… egalitarian toward other forlorn homeless animals … stray, Wild or formerly stray & wild….
Creatures great & small… come one come all to Cross House, Emporia KS or Strong City!😇 !!
Oh Ross! Be Careful! That’s Sneaky Raccoon! He’s usually around my neighborhood. I don’t know how he got to your house, maybe the good vibes coming from it. He will take noisy toys that are left in the yard overnight! I can hear a distant carnival horn playing it the distance on quiet summer nights.
What a fancy “cat”!
We took in a stray cat who is now 18 years old who was hanging around our yard. Eventually our neighbor took in his brother. But before that, we would put food out for them and one evening there were the two cats and a baby opossum in the middle, all eating from the same dish. They didn’t mind sharing with their friend.
“Cats, you didn’t tell me you were having a guest dine with you.”
Cats look like…… you, Jack can eat and run, but no cuddles or fun!
