    Oh but this should be in the cross house!! I don’t think it’s too late in style, and the level of detail is perfect. The acanthus leaves and ESPECIALLY the assymmetrical shield finial echo your entrance Hall’s original papers!

    Now THAT is a sweet little gas/electric! I knew the fixture had to be fairly ornate, given the asymmetrical gas cock, but seeing it all together really surprised me. I didn’t expect the Acanthus bulb cover and it pleases me to no end that you’ve got the glass “candle” cover! Like a few other mentioned, it seems like it would be a nice fixture for the Cross House property…maybe in the carriage house?
