So, Pete is now IN the parlor! But, as y’all may recall, Ross was not happy with the skimpy hanging cord/tassel. I mean, skimpy? In the Cross House? Oh, the horror.
Oh! Much better! Then Vicki suggested that I look at what Swan offered. Oh. Oh!
Pete likes his new, bolder colored Swan hanger! Ross, too!
The color matches the sofa! I like, too, how it picks up the berries in the picture rail. Thanks, Vicki!

The Swan hanger is pretty. And I love the painting on the picture rail moulding. I have a few Swan hangers from decades back and they still look good.

I have now seen the hanger in person and can confirm that it looks fabulous, as does the photograph. It’s beautiful on that wall and in that space. Love it.

That’s a very interesting picture rail. It looks like you pressed and dried actual plants and then hand painted them. That’s probably not the case, because that would take forever, but the berry detail is gorgeous. Each berry is a jewel.
