Should I???????? PART II

So, I did a post about this bedroom set for the suite. I had no idea the post would prove so popular!

For several years now I have looked at literally thousands of bedroom sets for the Cross House. This set is the first I fell in love with. The price is not too bad, but I had no idea what the shipping would be from South Carolina to Kansas.

Today I know.

$1,300.

Ouch. Ouch!

Now, I am paralyzed. I can just barely swing the cost of the set. But the shipping overwhelms me.

My intellect says: Let the set go. You’ll find another you love way closer to home.

My heart says: But….I’m in love! LOVE!

Sigh.

Wow! That’s a lot of $$$ for shipping!

    The set is beautiful!

If it were possible that someone was traveling nearby & coming back to KS from SC….

    Perhaps some kind person…..

Like with the beautiful vanity for your bathroom ….????

But short of that I vote no emphatically.

It’s beautiful but unless you can get it here for reasonable amount…. not a go:-(

So sorry to be Debbie Downer– dearest Ross!

I liked your idea of finding a modern bed and a few matching antique pieces to furnish the room. It would save a lot of money and you can always swap those out if the right killer suite shows up in the future…

The set is very pretty.. when you said the east cost in your last blog I was like hmmm I wonder how close to me.. turns out it’s in my home state! <3 Unfortunately, I do not have the means to come visit you.. as much as I want to tour your beautiful house and get a picture on the sofa as a visitor. Lol If there is anything else I can do.. even just holding it for you for someone else to pick up I'd be willing, and I have the space. 🙂

Let it go! There are more out there.
Unless someone can deliver for free.

Road Trip time. Go see the Biltmore in Asheville. Maybe Charleston or Savannah. Rent a U-Haul, pick up your furniture and bring it home. Stop in Nashville or St Louis on the way back. You can probably write the trip and U-Haul off to business too if you do some light fixture shopping. You probably could anyway since you will be renting the room out.
