A mama cat with her four kittens on my deck!
Watch out Ross, they’re so cute especially the babies. But they have caused thousands of dollars worth of damage to our front porch and built in gutters. Maybe in the city, they’re OK, but out in the country they are relentless.
Awe! I’m a wildlife rehabber in Iowa and two years ago, I had the opportunity to be a foster Mom to two baby raccoons. Hats off to Mama raccoons everywhere…cause their babies are REALLY needy. Lol! Seeing this warms my heart, as I released my babies after two months of care. 💕
Aww. Looks like Gorgeous has been busy!! The rewards you get for singing to her. Enjoy!
(And I’m not being sarcastic- these days this is something to be proud of and take whatever joy they bring).
Are you sure that those are not kittens and a mama cat? They look feline: pair of eyes, a snout, 4 paws, tail. Cuties too. Just got some strange markings for a cat… 🐺
Maybe just nighttime shadows? Hahaha
Oh what a sweet, lovely, little family. Do not stop feeding them for the rest of their life or they will destroy your home, your cat house, and your car. Remember raccoons ripped the tires off my Grandfather’s truck after he stopped feeding them. Grandfather had purchased 50 squirrels. Had the squirrels in a huge, huge cage with a roof in the yard. He was hand feeding them everyday and spending a lot of time talking to the squirrels everyday to tame them. The raccoons joined in on the feeding as the cage was raised off the ground and a lot of food falling to the ground.. After two months Grandfather released the squirrels. Once loose all the squirrels ran off to the woods and creek on the edge of Grandfather’s property. Not one squirrel stayed in the yard. The raccoons let Grandfather know they were not pleased with no more feedings. Ripped the truck tires off and chewed up his handmade wood yard furniture. He did get to purchase four new tires. I heard about the ……….. raccoons my whole childhood.
Awwwww. Trash pandas.
