The New Cross House Tanning Salon

Completing the electrical work continues at a quick (and exciting) pace. Few things make me tingle more than a new array of switches and outlets.

And remember this horror? It is looking much better. Stay tuned for images.

In the famous Aladdin’s Cave (under the library), all the terrible old wiring is now gone, and the terrible temp lights. Now, I have four 4-foot-long LED work lights installed. But $16 each and BRIGHT. So bright that I told Justin the room could be used as a tanning salon. “I’ll make a fortune!”

LED is so the way to go.

I replaced one lightbulb over the washer with one of those three way LED UFO flap things cheap off Amazon that looks like a Star Wars fighter to me. I can’t believe the light I have in my garage now. I could actually read a book in there if I wanted.

Only did a tanning bed once, lesson learned! Progress… 🙂
