The Search…Is Over!
A while ago, several readers wrote in asking if a SEARCH box could be added.
Oh. I thought this already existed. But I belatedly realized that while I could search this blog thingy, you could not. Oops. Sorry!
I contacted my web master, Tracy, from IM Design and asked for her help. Help! Tracy started working on the issue and then…ALL HELL BROKE LOOSE! She wrote to me that she was suddenly deluged with clients needed their web sites updated to reflect a changed global reality.
But tonight…we have victory.

On any blog post you will now see a blue box in the upper right corner. Click it, and then type in what you want to find, like “screen doors” or “Kenny” or “stained-glass” and all my blog posts on such a subject should appear like magic.
While the world is in crisis, at least this blog is a tiny bit better.
Enjoy searching!

How cool is that? Thanks! Even better than an index!
Bravo Ross, and Tracy of IM Design! Entered “cats” and got to re-read the lovely stories.
I wish you’d add a “like” button. Especially in the comment section. Stay safe and God bless!
A squeeeee button?
Hahaha yes, Jeanine. A squeee button 🙂
I love it! So many times I wished for an index. I second the like button.
I didn’t think this blog could get any better. Thank you!
Yes! Great addition. Thank you Ross and Tracy.
This is wonderful news. Thank you. Now as each new project approaches in our 1863 Italianate, I can answer that burning question: “What would Ross do?”.
Can we even search out handsome Justin?
I have just caught up with your blog, by reading March through April. I am so pleased to be seeing recent progress on this fabulous, and beautiful house, and i one day hope i can also own a Victorian house here in the UK which is as detailed and intricate as your’s. A bit smaller though, as i doubt i’d be able to afford a house that was 900 sq feet, and i don’t think they make them that big over here anyway lol -Also we don’t have queen Anne Victorian style houses like you have in the USA, which i think are much more remarkable than our’s, so i was thinking something small and quaint like a gate house, or a house set in a graveyard. I first fell in love with your houses when i saw a gorgeous old mansion in one of Alfred Hitchcock’s films, which they knocked down for a football field in the 1950’s apparently THE SAVAGES!!! Best of luck with everything and all my love Ross. Matt xxxx
Thanks Ross, this will come in handy.
I searched the word “door” and got 27 articles!
Just kidding,
27 PAGES of results.
Exciting stuff!
A.H. This Search Button is fun to use in Ross’ blog. Information is now right at the fingertips. Wheeee!
In a time when life is crazy and trying, I find it is important to express gratitude to those who make a difference in our lives, big or small. I stumbled upon your Cross House project through a YouTube post and have been catching up and checking in with your incredible progress. Through your blood, sweat, and I am sure tears, I have been gifted with watching the reemergence of beauty. I am a nurse, and it’s is a difficult time right now. Daily, I check in with three things that always bring me joy, and your blog is one of them. Thank you, Ross, for showing how passion, community, and hard work lead magnificent things. Carry on and be safe. Cheers to you and the Cross House!
Amazing! So many times I’ve searched some of your blog posts to share on specific subjects and had to search in Google but it wasn’t very helpful. Yay for this new feature, thanks!
I’ve found your blog to be one of the most well organized and easy to navigate. Well done you and your web team!
