Amy and Fritz, from North Carolina, had a tour of the Cross House!

Awwww!

Amy and Fritz were in town for another event, but Amy said she had to tour the Cross House. The couple owns an 1850 house which they have been working working working on, and they have a blog!

They were both highly attuned to details and as we walked from room to room and from floor to floor they noticed many things and even some things I had never noticed.

We had a lot of fun and I was stunned when they told they were grandparents!

Unreal! They look too young to be grandparents.

      That’s what I told them!

See, restoring old houses keeps one young!

    Oops, I did it again.
When I first encountered “Restoring Ross”, I first dabbled in several episodes, then read several months’ worth, then went back to the beginning and binged all the way through. Now Ross, the tempter, has cast “Our 1850 House Adventure” in front of me, and I have binged, not wisely, but too well. It’s 3:30AM in the West Virginia hills and I have to teach Sunday School at 9:30.
    I regret nothing.

This is amazing; I had stumbled across their 1850 House blog a couple years ago, but then lost track of them when my desktop died; now I have to catch up with them! Thanks, Ross!

    Ross,

We had a fabulous time touring your home and learning about some of your adventures in restoration! Our “projects/obsessions” are quite different and yet the passion is the same and the craziness in what we do is a bonding force. Keep up the amazing work!
