I always meant to ask…whatever became of the curved window behind them?
I would assume/believe they have been restored and are awaiting the glazing to dry to be painted and replaced.
The huge curved glass broke. Sigh.
I still need to get it replaced. A 2018 project!
Did you break it? Or was it already broke when you purchased the house?
Both!
It was cracked.
We cracked it more.
Bummer. I have a bunch of hand rolled curved glass in my basement. Too small for this application though!
I thought the plexiglass is temporary while the curved window is being restored. Thought that was the case from a previous blog😄
Is this a Queen anne style house or just Victorian?
The Cross House was built during the Victorian-era and in the Queen Anne Free Classic style.
Happy New Year Ross.
Eek eek– Ross you poor dear & alas the curved window mishap oh dear😱
I didn’t realize it broke— sorry to spread misinformation:-(
No worries! We have plexi in two of our 16 curved sashes. It’s just how it is. I can’t tell unless I knock on them. I know it stinks but over at my house there is always something in need of dire attention and money. Not much left for a glass mold To be made. 😉
