VISITORS!
They booked a 2-hour tour but I let this continue to 4 hours as the two came bearing gifts!
Y’all know Clay as he has been reading this blog since the beginning and comments often. Clay previously gifted the house.
Before arriving Clay tantalized with this: “Just a reminder Cindy and I will be coming for a tour of the Cross house on this Saturday, May 20th, at around 1PM. I do have a couple of presents for you!”
Then, in a plastic bin, they removed some packing to reveal…a bit of confusion. It was obvious that the many parts were crystal sconces but were they intact? Were all the parts included? Could the one detached arm be repaired? Why were the crystal spears at 45-degree angles?
In short, the plastic bin either contained a fabulous treasure…or lighting parts.
Arriving home many hours later I itched to go at the contents of the plastic bin.
Wanna see the results? Scroll way down…
Amazing! I was gobsmacked! All the parts were, indeed, in situ. I was able to get the crystal spears back upright. Some sleuthing revealed just how to attach the twin crystals strands. Much soaking and cleaning revealed the beauty of the crystals.
Thank you Cindy and Clay! SQUEE!!!!!!!! BIG hug!!!!!!!!
