When Something Is So Bad…It’s Good

A Cody find. I almost passed on it. It is kinda awful. 1970s awful. Then…

…I held the shade up to the light. It transformed. And…

…I realized I was smiling. The fixture was making me smile. And thus…

…I purchased it. After some love and attention, I fell in love. The fixture is ideal, of course, for a 1970s kitchen but would also offer a wonderful and unexpected touch to a newly built modern-style kitchen.

That fixture actually is stunning! Probably because 1970’s aren’t youth & reminded me of that era.

Meant this fixture reminded me of my youth which are the 50’s, 60’s & 70’s.

Cody is incredible & his “finds” are wonderful.

Oh it’s good (and I usually am not a fan of 70’s)! 🙂

It’s very pretty in it’s own way. I like the metal filigree at the top of the shade. When lit, the fruit almost looks beaded. Almost.
