A Nefarious Theft at the Cross House!
I recently did a post about the finial of the Cross House turret. It’s big. It’s fabulous.
The finial was removed so the turret could be reroofed, and placed in the library. But today, THE FINIAL WAS STOLEN! It was just gone! OMG! I was freaking out! Then, a reader alerted me that they had found it! It turns out that Amy stole my finial…
…and installed it on HER turret!
(It is possible that none of the above is true. Perhaps Kelly from Old House Dreams graciously participated in this silliness, and photoshopped my finial on Amy’s house. Amy, and her husband, Doug, have their own blog about their own fabulous old house. The above image does NOT reflect how their house looks today.)

To commit this crime, I would also have to have magical powers of shrinking – my finial is about a foot tall!
