Baby Stepping

Not long ago.

The porch ceiling after power washing.

Turing the corner after 8+ years.

More! Better! (The colors are all off in the image.)

Squee! Tomorrow, I will lose the weather for a while so next week I will be back to inside projects.

For 8+ years I have despised the many electric boxes punched through the ceiling.

Today. Ross VERY happy. Although the gray beam in the far back still needs painting.

    The house looks amazing!

You are on the home stretch!

Painting the porch ceiling makes such a difference!

    Crispy!

Come spring you can tackle remainder of the south facade….

Looks great! I love the color combination

Inspiring me to think about my own porch projects for next summer. I need to strip and repaint and also repair the railing. My porch is SW Bracing blue on the porch floor, white railing, with a natural stained ceiling.

As pretty as those photos are, the porch is even prettier in person. So glad I got to see it — and you — on my recent trip to town.

She’s a grand porch — imagine how good it will be to sit in a rocking chair on that porch drinking a tipple in the summer!
