Initially, I passed on this fixture. You can understand why. But…but…was that silver peeking out through the bad gold spray-paint job?
Why yes. Yes it was.
I never fail to be amazed by such seemingly miraculous transformations. Another ugly duckling. Now a swan. A silver-plated swan.

Classy fixture!
I like the canopy and ceiling pipe. It’s such a distinctive teens/twenties look. When I’ve been looking for fixtures from that era, it’s one of the clues to an original of that era, or later reproduction, as I’ve yet to see later reproductions that have those distinctive deep-bell canopies.
