Wednesday. It does not look like I did anything. But…I did. I finished all the nailing, set the nails, and filled in all the holes. Thus, today I can sand and prime!

A rising tide of harvested, renewed and reinstalled siding. Looks grand now, and paint will make it look, well, prime!
Temp flashing in lieu of a longer drainpipe? Works for me.
Setting nails and filling is tedious work and you really can’t see anything for your efforts. Until you prime and paint that is. Then it becomes really obvious when you have and when you haven’t.

Hi Ross,
I have been following you for a while now, but have really become interested since you started on the coach house.
I can not wait to see what you do and remember you are going to move into you beautiful house this year.
I grow up in a 1900 Victorian, but have lived the last 40 years of my life in a large one bedroom condo.
Once I retire in a couple of year I am planning on finding a 1900 Victorian and I am looking forward to enjoying the space and experiences.
Keep doin what you are doing.

Wow, Ross, I don’t know where you find the energy, but so glad you do!
