The door to the 1921 bathroom over the living room.
Door frame and trim removed. All will be reused. Entry framed out.
Closed up! I have waited ten years to see this! The former bathroom will be the new Master Suite closet.
Looking west. BEFORE.
AFTER.Looking west to new master suite entry.
Master suite entry.
Same. A new foyer has been created. With this entry door. A door on the east wall to the new walk-in closet. A door on the west wall to the new Turret Bathroom. And the 1921 door on the north wall to the bedroom (visible in background).
Love the new foyer space. Chaotic upstairs landings are annoyingly common!
Agreed! This look so clean!
I’m in love the Carriage House – the sunroom, the famous green sink, the vintage stove with a double oven no less, the secret room, a diningroom to die for, the staircase with the dog window, the principal bedroom with a walk in closet, and ensuite with a clawfoot tub. I love it all, and it was so amaaaaazing to see in person!. Thanks again, Ross, for the tour of the Cross and Carriage houses last week. Even better than the tour, was finally
getting to meet you, Ross. ❤️
Ooh, this space is looking so good! For a guy with less energy than usual, you get a whole lot done. Hope I can catch you there in person on my next trip to Emporia!
