Inching Along

Two weeks ago.

Last week.

Yesterday.

Today! Notice also that I finished all the trim around the window. Tomorrow I begin on the window sash itself.

And I stripped more of the door. After it is fully stripped it will get varnished. It should be GORGEOUS when finished. The project for next week is re-installing the porch railing. Then…the porch lattice will get installed!

It’s all a lot better than it was last November!

Woot! That door is going to be a beauty. Just like the rest of the north face.

What a huge difference from last November! I can’t get over how different the door is going to look. Not only will it be gorgeous, but the original hardware is going to stand out instead of blending in. Can’t wait to see it!

I need to come up with a new way to say, “Looking good, Ross!” I’ll bet that the north wall is getting a lot of attention, facing the highway like it does…

I know you need to sleep, work and eat, and beat the weather coming… but I am so glad you are the type to finish a project like this and balance the rest of stuff. This is just amazing.. do you have a phantom Ross that helps you get it all done??

Oh my, yes! So much better! Amazing transformation. Better than any makeover I’ve ever seen.

What are all the white marks on your paint jobs after the first coat? Is it the big stretch caulk to smooth out imperfections?
