Oh my Ross. It does my heart good to see progress being made on your house. In these troubling times seeing that you have made a new post about the house or your kitties just lightens my mood so much. It’s like a ray of sunshine. Keep up the great work on the house. It may seem like you are not getting very far but I am amazed at the progress you have made
Is there flashing from the wall to the shingles? It looks like there is some metal on the wall behind the shingles, but it doesn’t wrap down above the shingles.
Looks so good…I notice that you cut a small square out of the bottom inside edge of the window facing and was curious if it was rotted, or if there was some other purpose. Old windows are a big part of my life, LOL…
Really looks good. I am so glad you are inching along. Just a while back I had a cry break down, fearing you were going to stop when you were over come some of the South side.. So thankful inching is a good thing, so much better than rushing to finish ending with a covered over thing half done. I found you on Old House Dreams. I never comment there as I am confused with copy, paste, whatever. And, since then I check in with you most everyday. Any way you always make my day. THANKS!
Huzzah, Ross!
Huzzah!
Squee!!!
I love all the these incremental milestones on the south facade! Painstaking, but methodically moving forward with each small victory!
Yay! Yay! Yay!
