Inching Along…between raindrops

It was raining today. Then it stopped. I waited till things dried a bit and began shingling. Then the rain started again. But…a bit more done!

In removing the old shingles it becomes apparent just how worn they are.

Poor babies. They look so much better after you’ve sanded and painted them.

I began to think it will never stop raining in my home town. Has rained for two weeks now and continues to rain for many more days. Zone seven must be turning into zone nine. Glad you inched along during the raindrop break with no raindrops falling on your head. You always, always, always have my complete admiration! I am in awe of your skills!

Thank you for continuing to post, Ross. Your writing is a real tonic in these horribly uncertain times. I for one appreciate you sharing your beautiful work on this house – shortcuts or not.

      Thank you, Meghan.

The house has proved a salvation in many ways these past few years as it gives me something positive to focus on.

      BIG virtual hug!
