When I purchased the Cross House in 2014, the south entry door had a broken yellow glass panel. Oh, the horror. But, in 2015…
….I repaired this. However, the transom window needed help. The poor dear.
But…poor dear no longer.
While things are very scary right now, in a minute way, in a small town in Kansas, something is a tiny bit better.

Hi Ross, it’s been ages since I commented. This looks so fine now it’s repaired. Like you say, things are scary right now, so I’m sending you all good wishes from Dubai. Things are moderately less scary here, but still ramping up! Hang in there and keep painting.

Colin, my dear friend’s son is in Abu Dhabi. He has reported that as they enter the mall their temperature is taken by thermal scan. If they have a fever they are escorted out. Interesting! They feel as if they may be in safest place on the planet right now. They have been working from home for over a week.
Any small move in a positive direction is welcome news today.
Forgive me for changing the subject, but is that a radiator along the wall on the right? Without researching old posts, I have never noticed it before, if that is what it is…
Yes, Mike, that’s a long, very thin radiator. It’s my favorite in the house.

I so would like to know whose dog, from what era, scratched on the door all day and hear the owner asking them to stop. I have imagined all the players respective voices.
