Something Rare. And Modern.

My online vintage lighting store.

This was in the basement of the Cross House. On a shelf in the Aladdin’s cave. It is certainly not original to the house. But was it part of the 1950s motel conversion? Or was it just something randomly placed on the shelf?

I decided to restore the fixture (new paint, sockets, and wiring) and offer it for sale. I love the concept that the house can, very occasionally, put some money in my pocket rather than just endlessly drain money from my pocket!

The shade features a rare bamboo motif. Cool.

Sure you don’t want to put it in your pink bathroom in the basement?

Sell it if you can. But I’d love to see it in the pink bathroom myself.

I think something pink & Hollywood 50’s in the pink bathroom but that would have been nice too. Ross is very particular & has a vision about things—hence the parlor 🙂 so I suspect he already has in mind what is meant for the pink 50’s bathroom lol

The pink bathroom retains its original lighting. I will be restoring it!

But if course! I knew there had to be a vision — restoration of the original!! haha
