The Cross House

The Colors of the Cross House

Several readers have asked: What are the colors you are painting the Cross House?

The wall color is ARTIFACT from Sherwin-Williams.

The trim color is IRISH SOD. The sash color is oil-base gloss black. The black gives punch to the other colors.

  1. I really enjoy reading your blogs, Ross. I LOVE,LOVE,LOVE seeing the “grand ole Lady” coming back to life. Your heart is in it and it shows. The world needs more like you.

  2. I love the colors you choose..especially the trim…There is this old house in Carrollton ga once was a beautiful place built by the man who started a college here that is now west georgia college… was turned into a restaurant then stood empty for many years..They were going to tear it down till a lady that owns a couple of Chinese restaurants bought it…I am so glad she did but she had it painted the most horrible colors…and it doesn’t help the city of Carrollton put a big freaken water tower behind it..

  3. that middle half window in that second floor trio still makes me want to do something about it. I think, in your spare time of course, you should just put a 3rd full window in. shouldn’t take more than 3 or 4 weeks. piece of cake.
