Baby cedar steps. Baby cedar steps. The dark shingles are original, turned over, and disk sanded. They should last another century. Longer, likely, than the new shingles.

  1. You actually have a lot of work done. I see all the old is removed from the other side. That’s a big step. Looking great!

  2. Something about that little drainpipe bothers me. Assuming it is for the it the best solution? Just wondering what the impact is on the roof below.

  3. With each part that you finish the whole overall look of the house looks more solid . Love seeing your home gradually looking its best with neat tucks and trims . using the real materials and doing it by hand is defiantly wood surgery not plastic surgery . The old girl is looking better and more glamorous every day.

  4. Synonyms for amazing: awesome, fascinating, incredible, marvelous, shocking, stunning, surprising, unbelievable, wonderful. Pretty much sums up what you gave accomplished on the Cross House. I would love to meet you, Ross, and see your houses!!!!

  5. Stupendous! Not many people would be paying so much attention to detail by the time they get to the fourth side. It won’t be long now before she has all the finishing touches on her exterior.
