Wanna Meet JC?

JC blogs about his 1923 Foursquare.

He also blogs about fixing clocks. And upholstering fixture. And making fine cabinetry. And other cool old houses. And renovating houses for friends.

He is young, too. Disturbingly so for someone with so many talents and so much friggin’ experience. After I read his every post I felt like I was born yesterday with no experience at anything. Really, JC is amazingly multi-talented.

He purchased a kinda nothing of a house and slow obsessive bit by slow obsessive bit he has been transforming the place into something really charming and inviting. He also loves nothing more than attacking a sloppy repair or alteration and doing it right. Yep, my kinda guy.

In his latest post JC wrote about making, wholly from scraps of wood and glass, a cabinet for his tools. I know, you are thinking: THAT? For TOOLS? But this cabinet, for tools, typifies how JC approaches things. And ya’ just gotta love the guy.

J.C. is good people! If I can ever get the stars to line up right I always wanted to pay a call that way with a truckload of six panel doors.

Hahahaha oh yeah, something about this sounds vaguely familiar! I still have not tackled the doors.

J.C. also has a Pinterest board where he pins/bookmarks some really great ideas. The link is at his blog.

Yup. I don’t use it often enough. I just don’t seem to have the time. I mainly started it to start keeping track of original kitchens and kitchen ideas.

      Here.
